WEDDING PAPER FLOWERS
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms and conditions for provision of wedding flowers
These terms and conditions are the terms and conditions upon which Page & Bloom, a trading name of Hartland and Dean Limited, (“we/us”) makes available to the client (“you”) any of our services. By paying the booking fee to secure your wedding flowers with Page & Bloom you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Quotes
A quotation for the cost of your wedding flowers will be sent to you after your free consultation. Once you confirm you would like to go ahead, we will prepare an invoice for the amount agreed. Invoices are valid for 8 weeks. If you have not confirmed your order and paid the booking fee within 8 weeks, we may need to provide you with a revised quote.
Booking fee & Payments
The price of your flowers will be clearly set out in the invoice. It is your responsibility to carefully check the invoice and make sure all the details are correct and that you are happy with the prices.
Payment for the wedding flowers is required either in full on booking (in this case a 5% discount is applied), or 50% on booking and 50% due 7 days before the agreed delivery date. We will send you a final invoice when the balance payment is due. In either case, 25% of the confirmed quote will be counted as a non refundable booking fee.
The booking fee confirms your order and the delivery of your flowers for the date agreed on your invoice. It is applied towards the contracted wedding flowers and is deducted from the final invoice.
On payment there is a 14 day cooling off period where we will return the deposit to you if you cancel your order. After this time the deposit is non-refundable, even if the date is changed, the wedding cancelled for any reason or you decide to engage an alternative supplier.
If Page & Bloom is unable to fulfil your wedding flowers for any reason and has to cancel your order, your deposit will be refunded to you in full. We will not be responsible for finding an alternative provider to make your flowers.
Cancellation and charges
In the event of cancellation by the client at any point once the order has been confirmed, the 25% booking fee will be non refundable.
If you cancel up to 12 weeks prior to the agreed delivery date we will refund any payments made, excluding the booking fee, and future payments due will no longer apply,
Cancellation less than 12 weeks before the agreed delivery date will incur full payment, as your flowers will already be in production.
No charges will be applied should the wedding be changed to a different date and all products are still required – subject to date availability.
If you fail to make payment on the due date we reserve the right under these terms and conditions to charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate which shall accrue on a daily basis until after payment of the overdue amount.
Deliveries
We will agree with you a delivery date when you confirm your order, normally around 3 weeks before your wedding. We may have to vary the delivery date by a few days either side of this depending on availability of couriers but we will let you know in advance. If your flowers are ready before this date, we will check with you before sending them out.
We will ask you to confirm the delivery address when you confirm your order. It is up to you to ensure the address details are correct and to inform us of any changes to the delivery address prior to delivery date. We shall not take responsibility for lateness caused by an incorrect address.
Whilst we endeavour to make all deliveries within sufficient time before the event, we cannot be held responsible for any unexpected events that may occur which are beyond our control, particularly if you have selected a delivery date closer than 1 week before your wedding. We will endeavour to make alternative arrangements should this happen. In this event, refunds will be at our discretion.
Changes to your order
You can make minor changes to your order (such as changing the quantities of buttonholes/ bouquets, colour changes, book choices etc.) up to 12 weeks before your wedding date. These should be agreed in writing by email and we will respond by email to confirm the changes. Any additional payments or refunds will be settled in the final invoice payment, or on delivery of the flowers if you have paid 100% up front.
If the changes mean the total value of the order falls below 70% of the total originally confirmed invoice, Page & Bloom reserves the right to withdraw from the contract – in this instance the booking fee will be retained.
There are no refunds for cancellations of individual items within 12 weeks of the wedding, unless by the agreement of both parties.
Page & Bloom reserves the right, without penalty or cancellation by the client, to alter the style and shape of vases, pots, sundry items and display articles should any required items become unavailable prior to the wedding date.
Complaints & quality
Should you have any issues with the quality or standard of the flowers/displays, you must notify us as soon as possible and within 5 days of receipt of the flowers. Page & Bloom reserves the right to rectify any errors in advance of the wedding without prejudice. Any complaints regarding the quality, shape, size, quantity etc cannot be accepted after the day of the event. We strongly recommend that you remove all flowers from the packaging when you receive them to ensure everything is in order.
Once you have received the flowers and confirmed you are happy with them, it is your responsibility to ensure they are stored and transported safely. They should be kept dry and out of direct sunlight. Page & Bloom shall not be responsible for any loss of or damage to the flowers arising from any negligence, misuse, mishandling of the flowers or otherwise after delivery.
Your flowers will be created bespoke for your wedding. Photos shared of previous bouquets or floral styles are for inspiration only and your flowers may not be a direct replica. If you expect very specific colour matching, we will require a physical colour sample. Colour matching will be as close as possible, but as the flowers are hand painted we are unable to guarantee an exact match.
Use of magnets
You may be asked if you would prefer magnets instead of pins to attach corsages onto clothes. Please ensure that guests wearing these do not have a pacemaker fitted. A magnet may stop the pacemaker from working properly. Page & Bloom accept no responsibility for any resulting health issue which may arise from magnets and pacemakers or ICDs.
Photographs
Page & Bloom reserve the right to take photographs of flowers in our studio or at the setting prior to the event if we are installing flowers, which may be used for promotional purposes.
We are grateful for you sharing photos of the flowers on your wedding day that we can post on our website and social media. We are happy to credit photographers as required, and will check this with you before posting photos.
